- On the laptop you intend to be a secondary monitor go to settings, or otherwise use the short keys; Windows button + i.
- On the search tab, search for app and features.
- Click on optional features.
- Search for a feature called Wireless Display and install.
- After installation go back to settings and search for Projection Settings.
- Ensure that the configuration settings are as follows: Available everywhere, Every time a connection is requested, and Never.
- Go to your main laptop or pc and right click on the desktop screen and click on Display Settings.
- On the consequent page screen scroll and look for Connect to a wireless display.
- On the connectable devices, click on your secondary monitor for laptop that is discoverable. It will have a customizable name like Desktop GFRYC.
- Wait for a prompt that appears on the bottom-right on your secondary monitor and click ok.
- Boom! You have yourself a secondary monitor for laptop. Give it a go.
